The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. ”When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay.”

”Stayed in room 1 and bed was too firm. The bathroom was mouldy and shower head and the drain in shower over filled with water. Bedroom was clean but could not get comfortable on such hard mattress. Spa was nice and food was really good in restaurant. ”

”The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and even though hot food is not allowed in the rooms, we were very pleased with the effort that Tim and Vicky went to to set up for us to have a takeaway dinner in the dining area. The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also.”
