”We chose this hotel over cheaper options mainly because it advertised a spa. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told that the sauna wasn’t working and wouldn’t be fixed anytime soon. That was extremely disappointing, as the spa was the main reason we were willing to spend more money to stay here. Had we known, we would have chosen a more affordable hotel that at least included breakfast. What made the situation worse was that the staff didn’t seem particularly apologetic and didn’t offer...

”the rooms where very clean, but the area around is not so good, to go to the centre of Anchorage you will need about 45 minutes by walk one way, but it is a good point for activities, but it will be better, to rent a car, because bus station is not near and the bus don't go very often”

”The rooms were filthy and the heater had a constant gas smell to the. The headboards were torn, stains on the floors, spills left on the dressers. The hall was smelled of smoke and weed. The staff was not professionally dressed and honestly not super friendly. ”

”Room was quite rundown. Weather was sunny and room was hot all night long, no aircon. I guess room was so clean as possible, but feeling was not comfortable. Water was a real issue, hot water from all taps, very difficult to find cool shower temperature.”

”The one thing that lets down this hotel is how long it takes the shuttle bus to pickup guests. The hotel is 5 minutes away, but the bus takes over 30 minutes to pick me up after being called, late at night, where I was the only passenger. I have stayed at this hotel many times, and pickup from the airport is normal to wait 30minutes or longer”

”Very satisfied with this property. Well maintained and clean. Personable staff. Shared bathrooms impressively clean. Shared kitchen areas are well maintained with free coffee in the morning. Guest rooms have huge windows, TV, cable, internet. Its a simple, comfortable and safe place to stay and at a fraction of the price of other hotels further away from downtown.”

”There was quiet a lot of hair strands on the bed, not sure if it was after drying them and getting stuck on the sheets. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful during check in and checking out. Overall, our stay went smooth and it was good. Would highly recommend to a friend if they needed a hotel to stay at. ”
