”It's within 10 minute walking distance to centre of town. There is an ok but overpriced Indian restaurant, but setting for food. Big Sainsbury's nearby. Property is standard HI Express, clean, ok breakfast. Only real criticism is having stayed at HI Express a lot over the past 5 months in different places for work, would be good if they could vary the breakfast a bit.”

”Breakfast has plenty of options in the buffet & menu! As well the bar & restaurant are great! The staff is extremely knowledgeable & helpful, and the location is great if you want to be close to all tourist spots but stay somewhere a bit more quiet. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bath!”

”We had travelled about 190 miles for a wedding, arriving about 12:30 and looking for suitable facilities to change in, only to be offered the use of the disabled toilet. Far from ideal, but we managed. The room like the hotel looked dated, with only 1 packet of biscuits for the 2 of us, only bathroom amenities was a small round of hand soap, a pump dispenser of soap and shampoo over the bath, and the shower wasn't up to much either. The location and views were really nice. ”

”Reception staff initially a little frosty as we arrived ahead of check in time because we were going to an event. However once we explained that we didn’t expect our room to be ready and that we just wanted to leave our bags they were much friendlier and then went out of their way to find a room that had already been cleaned so that we could go straight to the room ”

”We booked for 3 nights and really loved our stay. Very comfortable, fresh, clean room and large bathroom with a wonderful power shower and loads of hot water. Easy code entry door, lovely entrance hall, amazing breakfast and such friendly, helpful staff. We often felt like the only guests as no noise disturbance. Lot of walking uphill but great location to see all that Bath has to offer and convenient bus stop just outside if needed. We arrived about 11am to ensure a parking space and were very...
