”Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. Da la sensación que estás dentro de la selva, ya que tienen un jardín muy bonito. Desayuno muy completo con café, fruta cortada, tostadas, huevos, plátano frito. Hecho al momento. Volvería al sitio!”

”The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!”

”The hotel owners are exceptional human beings, Yves and Siri are caring and down to earth. The chef Yves cooked some extraordinary meals for us using all organic and natural herbs. The staff is really helpful. The pool size is good. I recommend this hotel if you like nature and good food😊 Breakfast included. Price was adequate.”

”Tidy and roomy, but bed was too firm for me and no hot water. It was very difficult for the taxi driver to find the location due to no address, or sign. We finally had to call them for directions. Maria and hubby were very accommodating, but said they couldn't do anything about the lack of hot water until the next day due to needing a part. They acted as taxi drivers to get us to the park and also to La Fortuna, stopping at stores as needed along the way. Super nice! They don't speak English,...

The common area has field guides, atlases, and all kinds of information to enhance your stay. We'd spot amazing wildlife and then try to find them in the guides. The farm tour was fantastic, and the food quality. Michelle in particular was wonderful and kind. I've already recommended it to several friends.”

”Very friendly owner of the place. She didn't speak English, but we were able to communicate nevertheless. Breakfast was good. On the day of check out we had to leave very early, she was so kind to cut us some fruits for take out the night before. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the national park. ”

”The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!”

”Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. ”
