”This is a lovely hotel, situated a 10 minute drive off the A69, and easy driving distance to Hexham, Corbridge, as well as Cumbria and further reaches of Northumberland. Excellent hotel for walkers. The hotel has no lift, so if you struggle with mobility I would strongly recommend contacting the hotel prior to visit, and they can put you in a room just off the car park (accessable via a small ramp). Nice food, pleasant staff. ”

”I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...
