”The first room we checked into was next to an internal door which kept being slammed by noisy guests.
We were moved to another room by a lovely and helpful member of staff without any hesitation. The second room was an upgrade from the first one and was in a much quieter part of the hotel so we are very appreciative of that.
The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating.the location is perfect next to the river and the outdoor space was great (was a lively still and sunny day).

”Warm welcome on arrival. All matters explained for my stay. Everything provided and to a high standard. Comfortable bed and room. Lovely breakfast spread and freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. ”
”The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late.

Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport.
