”I knew I'd made the right choice of hotel from the moment I arrived. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the public rooms were gorgeous and tastefully decorated. Everything looked immaculate and gave a great first impression. I dined in the restaurant one evening and the meal was one of the best I've had in a while. The waiting staff are perfect - attentive but not over-bearing.
The spa facilities were wonderful. Overall, a fabulous stay and I'd definitely book again.”

”The breakfast was great, the restaurant in the club house was nicer than in the main hotel. The spa was excellent (massages and great pedicure with friendly staff). The pool was good, but busy.

”Staff were all really nice, especially Ava our waitress. She went above and beyond.
However there were a couple of waiters who did disappoint us. One forgot to put our breakfast order through, although he did apologise to us. The other one just seemed to ignore us and I had to go and ask at reception for a menu.
Reception staff were all very friendly and polite.
Overall would definitely go back there again ”

”We were very happy with our stay, the staff were very welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay. Our room over looked the beach/sea, well presented. The bed comfortable and the room was very quiet. My only concern was the smell of cigarette smoke drifting up from the balcony below. The breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. ”A lovely estuary view balcony room enhanced by the late April sunshine. A beautifully fitted overlarge bathroom with feature bath and rain forest shower. Quality bramley accessories.
Quite happy not to pay extra for the cooked breakfast as the continental version was comprehensive.
The car park was tricky but the helpful steward organised our space satisfactory.
The estuary view is superb and we would heartily recommend the hotel even for a few days despite the high cost.”

”We stayed two weekends, 23rd and 30th
The staff were very good at their job. When we were staying above incredibly volatile and inebriated guests on the first weekend, it was dealt with quickly. Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am.
The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff
Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind.
Under refurb, so slightly odd vibe, the price was very good because of it.
