”If you want to see night flying typhoons ( we did) or just typhoons! Shearwater 35 is perfect. Basic van for"superior" but very comfortable and very clean and well equipped. And cheap too”

”stayed here for 1 night room was nice and clean and just what was needed i found the staff a bit offhand not very talkative even though i tried talking to them the exception was the man who booked me in that evening at around 7 pm breakfast was lovely well presented and well cooked ample parking all in all a good stay in a lovely hotel just what i like in an older type building”

”Got to the property late (as pre arranged) and managed to locate the reception person after finding the emergency number. Room was clean but a little tired looking apart from a new thick carpet. Facilities generally good but no plug sockets next to the bedside tables. I am a CPAP user so had to have the power lead running from the desk area on one side of the room to the bedside table on the other side creating a trip hazard across the floor.”

”Smell of weed through out whole place eveb thou no smoking aloud . Ppl running about the corridors at all hours Terrible shouting and banging from room opposite at all hours of day and night reception informed but dont think anything was dome as it continued. Room needs some tlc mould on roof in bathroom toilet seat falling off and tge toilet basin itself moves away from floor shower needs a good scrub mould all around it caperts need a clean and curtains fitted correctly good for just sleeping...

”Great value property for a night in Scarborough, a tea towel would have been nice but we managed with a towel instead. Would definitely return.”

”Room was clean but very dated with many signs of wear - rust on the shower and towel heater, mould around the silicon on the sink . Old fashioned alarm clock which was so bright and unable to turn off was annonying and had to be covered with a towel. The shared areas and outside also feel dated and showed main signs of wear. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was Ok.”
