”Ground floor carpet to room was filthy. Carpet in room looked stained. Bathroom shabby. Only one bedside table with edging coming off. Kettle still had water in it from before (but, was fill-sized). Sheets clean, mattress protector used, but didn't dare use a black light on mattress. Bed was well worn but comfy enough. EASY QUICK WINS FOR IMPROVEMENT (1) steam clean or wash carpet (2) create a snag list for minor repairs and get a handyman/woman in for a couple of days (3) Put a mattress...

”I checked in and left straight away. The room was very basic and too bright and I did not feel it was a very safe environment. The man who gave me the card for access to the room could hardly speak English and I could hear a baby crying the few minutes I was in the room. I went there as I needed some quiet time to do some paperwork and unfortunately this didn’t work out. I will go to the premier inn in future which is a much nicer place and about the same price.”

”A solid place for first time solo travelers. The station is super close, so you have plenty of time to plan accordingly prior to train departure. Communication was a bit delayed at times, but host was always helpful and kind. You have a ton of shops and restaurants nearby if cooking isn't your thing! Be sure to bring your own toiletries and shower gels, and pack an extra towel since only one is provided! The window in the bedroom has a blackout curtain, which is very useful for privacy purposes....

”The host did not send instructions on how to access the property, did not respond to messages or phone calls. I had let the host know the ages of our party, as requested, they never once replied. I had to find same day accomodation following an overseas flight.”
