”We just got back from a 4-night stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta and had a really great experience overall.
The setting is probably the standout feature—being tucked into a private cove makes a big difference. ”The resort itself is very well maintained and clean - too efficient in cleaning that it constantly has wet floors everywhere (and full of cleaning staff) and rooms being fixed at 9 pm (I will get into this later in this review).
Overall: very up to par for JW Marriott group resort for the view, location and architect itself. Has only 2 pools (both quite small) - one by the main desk is full of all inclusive drunk party groups all day long and the other pool is somewhat quieter but lots of kids....

”I stayed in one of the renovated rooms with a balcony! It was a nice room and had great closet storage. The bathroom area was spacious as well. The balcony was a nice place to sit.
The rooftop was awesome! Very beautiful and great views. You have access to the pools at the Los Arcos Suites across the street and also to the beach club/pool at Playa Los Arcos. They were all great locations to hang out at!

”Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this resort.
The food was good, with the seafood being a standout. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, though the music felt a bit too calm—almost like being in a spa.
The room was clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping it fresh every day.
