”We stayed there two nights during our roadtrip. The hotel was quite nice. We had to be in contact to the hotel beforehand several times, since the reception closes already at 5pm. The rooms were spacious but a bit worn out, our friends bathroom door was stucked, but luckily the staff was still there when it happened. There was an odd moldy odour in the room. Otherwise the location was good, near the ocean and Monterey and the center of Pacific Grove can be easily reached by bus or by car. ”

”The problem is the housekeepers who literally knock on your door like a military drill instructor at 8:20 am. It happened to me during my stay. The housekeeper knocked loudly at our door like banging it, waking up my sleeping toddler. Before I asked how I can help her, she was already angry before the conversation. So I told her that check out is at 11 am and not at 8 am and she has no business of banging each hotel doors. She told me in a nasty voice that we did not put a "do not disturb" tag...
