”My mother and I were visiting the area and are so happy we found this listing. The house was close to everything, well equipped, very clean and roomy. There was a very nice outdoor area as well, unfortunately it was too chilly for us to enjoy. The Host was great with commutation- quick to reply to any questions we had. Would definitely rent again if I am back in the area. ”

”We spent two nights here as a family while visiting the area in March of 2025. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and restaurants. Easy drive to Monterey or other nearby areas in the Salinas valley. Although the house itself is small (a “casita” after all) the 3 bedrooms are surprisingly large and even have closets (plus one has a half bath). The backyard is enchanting and relaxing. Grace is an excellent and thoughtful host and everything was in order when we arrived....

”Daniel could not have been more accommodating. Geographically challenged. Got here, Daniel stayed with me until I got into this adorable little place. Enjoyed my stay visiting my grandchildren who live near by. ”

”We had a great time in Monterey. The house is clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Easy to connect with property owners; great communication. The house is near stores and about 15 minutes to the Aquarium. We brought the family and the house had plenty of space for all of us. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable stay this is the place. ”

”This is a beautiful house high in the mountains 24 minutes from Carmel Valley. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, large and up to date. The kitchen has everything that you need. The huge porch is overlooking the Carmel river so you can hear the water as it travels past the house. The hot tub is an added bonus. We did not want to leave the moment we arrived. Thank you, Daniel.”

”This was an easy-highway access location that allowed us to easily see Monterey and Santa Cruz. We unexpectedly also enjoyed the town of Marina: the dunes and cafes and their library’s playground and garden. Very cool little spot!”

”My friends and I chose to stay in Salinas because it's centrally located to Pinnacles National Park, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. The house was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Having three full bathrooms for five women was a big plus!The host was responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. We highly recommend this property!”

"You can hear airplanes and garbage truck (?) on a nightly basis plus someone is playing the horn in distance at 10 PM and 7 AM. I don’t know what’s going on with that. Breakfast a solid 6/10. The things they do have at breakfast are all OK but for example, there’s nothing to put on the toast besides butter and jam. There’s a very nice gas operated fireplace in the room, which is a big plus. We had a junior suite which was very roomy and also the bathroom is very spacious."
