”Having stayed with you previously, we were really looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, what should have been a lovely and relaxing family break was overshadowed by a number of issues relating to cleanliness, service and the overall guest experience.
Upon arriving at our room, we were disappointed to discover that the toilet had not been properly cleaned and still contained faeces from a previous occupant. There was also a noticeable stain on one of the chairs.
Although we were...

”Definitely a 5 star B&B. Lovely big room with terrace seating outside, overlooking the sheep and guinea fowl in the fields. Loads of parking. Very clean and well presented. The owners have pretty much thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and feel homely. Breakfast, with loads of choice, is cooked freshly to order in the area that serves as a bistro on several evenings in the week. We ate at the bistro - 'Feather and Beak' on one occasion and the food was outstanding. The owners...

”Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking.
We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.”

”The property owners/hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating - genuine interest in ensuring you have a great trip to the dales by offering recommendations, advice, helping to solve any problems etc. (e.g. the night we arrived it was late and couldn’t find anywhere to eat - the owner rang around different places on our behalf and ensure we got a table somewhere). Lovely house in a lovely setting with a great breakfast. ”
