”Really nicely appointed hotel and very comfortable. There is plenty of parking You are offered a good choice for breakfast and it is very reasonable. Downside, it does not do evening meals so you have to make alternative arrangements. Fortunately there are quite a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Great that you can take your dog but they are not allowed in the large breakfast room and you are seated in the lounge on a sofa with a coffee table. Bizarrely the reason given is...

”Everything you’d expect from a comfy hotel stay is provided by this beautiful hotel. Rooms are airy and clean. The bed and pillows were comfy and clean. My and partner stayed during the Download festival and loved it.”

”Property easy to find/park and get into They sent clear instructions of how to get in Room spacious and clean but the loo did have a mouldy water smell The only other issue was the room was freezing, there were two radiators but no thermostat. Shared kitchen was clean and well stocked ”

”Great stopover near M1 really decent food and drink good breakfast overall good experience only downside could hear upstairs flat when he came in and got up for early morning jog maybe blackout blinds for window and door glass other than that all good would definitely use again staff all very friendly and pleasant”

”Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. ”

”Lovely spacious room with milk in a fridge and real coffee bags. Comfy bed and super shower. Breakfast was a help yourself to croissant and butter. Would've been good to have had a more healthy option. Such as fruit and/or yogurt in the fridge. Only issue really was the wifi. Couldn't get the TV to work in the morning, and in th3 evening it dropped out a lot. Other than that it was a very comfortable stay. Thank you.”

”Clean room, lovely staff, great location for getting to Download festival. Really good value for money. A few things to note - the reception is located in a different area of the campus to the accommodation. For the reception you want to navigate to the South entrance on Landcroft Lane and then take the first left. The room itself was good although it was quite warm in the summer & the pillows were thin so I’d recommend bringing some additional pillows with you. There is a large carpark by...
