”Lovely hotel, lovely staff, floors were a bit creaky as wobbly but it's a old building to be expected! Nice simple room with everything you need. Was very very warm though but there was a fan provided which made it a bit better! Nice little touches with the show gels and things! Cleaning in the bathroom.was a bit poor, hairs and bit left around but sometimes it happens! Breakfast was fab too! All in all was a lovely stay and would definitely come back! ”

”Absolutely loved this Hotel. Surroundings were stunning & eating was extremely convenient. Any suggestions for improvements? Yes, the WiFi did not work from the room & even down stairs one had to jump through hoops for only momentary connection. That aside, everything else was world class including always polite reception & room cleaning staff. ”

”We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable.”
