”The motel was next to the Manapouri lake and there was a very nice view to the lake from the rooms. The rooms were quite basic but all right for two nights (we visited the Doubtful Sound from Manapouri -- and that was great!) The breakfast options were quite good. WiFi hardly worked from the room but was all right in the reception area.”

”This is a gorgeous apartment style hotel on the lake with a stunning view, close to town and really comfortable. The host at reception was lovely and made a superb recommendation for dinner. The Fat Duck makes the best duck wontons!!! The room has the comfiest recliner chairs and was warm and cosy when we arrived later in the afternoon on a cold winters day. Definitely a great location and very nice place to stay. I also recommend the walk along the lake early morning to watch the boats...
