”I gave it a 3 out of 5 because the facility generally did a decent job. Rooms were clean, desk agent was pleasant and helpful. While I expected a pet fee, I thought it was high and concluded that after our experience, they didn't do much to earn it. Plus, it was not easy to determine whether the hotel was pet friendly on the Expedia site and there was no mention of a pet fee that I could find and I actively looked. ”We loved our stay in this lovely apartment during our week in Mount Kisco. The well-stocked kitchen had all the essentials we needed (cookware, utensils, foil, paper towels, etc.) as we prepared breakfast and lunch there each day.We visited in January, and although it was cold outside, we were quite comfortable and warm inside.The bedroom was spacious and allowed plenty of room to unpack and settle in. ”We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. ”

”This is a small cabin located down a slight hill from the owner's house. They did a wonderful job of clearing out trails behind the property throughout the woods, between cabin and the road. The town of Chappaqua is beautiful and located close by, with any amenities you may need. The cabin is modified from an old stone and log structure and had all the basics you will need for a rustic retreat. Joanne was very friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy seeing guests have a pleasant stay.”

”One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The hotel was extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and had a terrible smell that made the stay very uncomfortable. The room did not feel properly cleaned at all, and the overall condition was unacceptable. For the amount charged, basic cleanliness and comfort should be expected, but this place failed badly. Sleeping here was uncomfortable, and the environment felt unpleasant from start to finish. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this...

”The cabin we stayed it was unique, but lots of walking from your car on a slanted walkway. Shared den and the room smelled heavily of smoke from the inner fireplace. Small room and tiny old bathroom. Not what we were expecting from the pictures. Received an odd email about checkin but nothing told us the building near our cabin (room) was closed and we had to drive to the big building elsewhere. Very soft bed. Windows in cabin look out to where everyone walks. Bit of an odd setup unless you have...
