”Vertical Sky Suites (VSS) is an experience without parallel, in the best way. We (family of four) arrived at the base road after a taxi ride (arranged by VSS), stowed some of our extra gear at a secure storage site, then rode the last bit up on 4-wheelers with two experienced guides. Upon arrival in the main dome, we were greeted by an incredible view and the friendly hostess. We ordered dinner, were guided with care to our hanging pod, and relaxed there taking in the mind boggling views until...

”El chek in fue algo lento y tuvimos que esperar las habitaciones son pequeñas especialmente el baño, el desayuno si estuvo bueno solo que algo temprano, ideal si tienes tours muy temprano pero no si quieres descansar hasta tarde, tuve problemas con el agua caliente pero tuve que esperar para bañarme buena ubicación a los baños termales, cansado para subir y bajar desde la plaza”

”The property is up of a 60 steepy wet slippy step staircase.(Dark at night time). Not recommendable at all for elderly and knee or hip issues. I was changed by the owner for a nearby hotel(1min distance) called Gringo Bills, but instead of my queen size bed bedroom(i had paid) i was given a rough single bed bedroom, the abat-jour not working, cold sink water, plus the room was next to the breakfast and reception so impossible to sleep as people go for it at 5/6am and the housekeepers started...

”Très beau séjour au Panorama B&B à Aguas Calientes! Gros point fort : le buffet déjeuner commence très tôt (dès 4h30!), ce qui est parfait compte tenu que nous partions tôt pour le Machu Picchu. Et surtout… c’est le seul endroit dans toutes nos réservations d'hôtels au Pérou où nous avons enfin pu manger des TOASTS (ils ont un grille-pain!!!). La chambre était bien, même si un peu petite. ”Situated just above the central plaza, this small hotel is very nice and the staff accommodating and friendly. There might be too many steps up for some guests, but the view at Huayna Picchu from the windows and the breakfast terrace is rewarding. Warmly recommended. ”
