”I had an okay stay, it was only a one night. The room was clean. The building itself is very old so that can be seen in the corridors and public spaces, and the location of the hotel is not the best as you need a cab to go basically anywhere. In total I give 3/5.”

”Comfortable room and bed with lovely breakfast”

”Kodikas hotelli. Huoneeseen kulku oli vähän mutkikas, erikoinen, mutta helppo kuitenkin. Ei sovi huonojalkaisille.”

”Absolutely fantastic stay in a lovely cosy pub. Staff could not have been more helpful. The room we stayed in was amazing add to this the fantastic food and atmosphere and it all adds up to a memorable stay. We will be back again.”

”The room was very clean. We stayed 2 nights and they cleaned our room after our 1st morning, refreshing the towels and coffee, plus cleaning the bathroom etc. It was a windy and stormy time outside which meant muddy boots but the staff made sure all the stairs and hallways to our room were freshly cleaned. Great location. Near shops, restaurants, and a walk along the Thames. We appreciated our stay.”

”A fantastic venue for a reunion with friends. Set in stunning grounds, with lots to do, would definitely recommend.”

”Room clean but bed not up to Premier Inn standard. Very springy and uncomfortable. Grandson lived the packet of skittles in the room - this made his stay. Staff amazing and helpful ”

”Bathroom was not stocked with the usual (and expected) shampoo and conditioner; only one towel provided for two guests, and shower screen seal was hanging off. A tower stand was provided but not adequate for the size of the room and the outside ambient temperature (19 degrees overnight).”

”Natalie was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, providing excellent recommendations and local information. Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. The on-site parking, located behind secure electric gates, was particularly reassuring. Despite the area's narrow roads, access was straightforward, and the safety mirrors installed...
