”Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

”After a long journey we found the parking a little hidden. The house is up a slope. The house is small and comfortable as one would expect. The breakfast was super and I wish we had been able to take more advantage of it. We had a medical emergency and Dawn, the landlady ,was so helpful and kept the room vacant in case we needed to stop an extra day. The location was perfect for walking to the main attractions and driving to more distant parts. I would go back again when the trauma has been...

”Lovely place However, AC was not working and needed to be on when we arrived. Far to hot. When we tiried to turn on, it was broken. A fan was provided, which helped, . But as warmth is insured on arrival during colder days, AC needs the same consideration in the hotter temperatures”

”The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

”Excellent location though no onsite parking but car park nearby. The member of staff who booked us in and showed us to our room, and later served us in the restaurant, was exceptional - welcoming, cheerful, informative, helpful. The member of staff who served breakfast was equally good - efficient, cheerful and helpful. Food was good and the room was comfortable and clean.”

”Clean, spacious family room. Patchy wi-fi, slightly out-dated bathroom but clean and usable. Basic pub grub, but be aware they don’t do breakfast. Lots to do in the area and a good price, would definitely stay again.”

”Lovely sized room, great atmosphere in the Pub. Nice location to explore Ironbridge. Breakfast items already in the room (crunchy nut cornflakes / rice krispies / pain au chocolat with a small fridge containing milk / yoghurt / preserves / orange juice. Downside to this was the small fridge was a little noisy.”

”We have previously stayed up in room 8 at the top of the property where it has been a lot quieter . This stay we were facing the outside of the seating area where we were not able to sleep because of chatting till 02-30 . This was on the Friday night 22/5/26. Bathroom not cleaned properly scum marks in bath and sink. Bath took along time to drain after a shower and all dirty particles in bath after eventually draining . I like the Swan Tap but was disappointed this time .”

”The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

”Location was great and although the decoration and amenities were "tired"! The bedroom was excellent and well maintained and the breakfast was good. Great value.”
