Nice hotel near Port of Ischia
We arrived at the hotel quite late in the evening. Check-in was really quick. It would have been nice to know more about the hotel (and Ischia) than just breakfast time. In the minibar of the guest room, among other products, there was a half-drunk Prosecco, we took it to the reception, where the staff (older man) just shrugged, no apologies, etc. The room was simple but clean and with a large cozy balcony overlooking the harbor. Poor lighting design in the room (all three lights in the room are really bright). Breakfast was ok and staff friendly.

We really appreciate your feedback which helps us to do better and above all to be even more careful. Usually when our guests arrive late in the evening we do not bomb them with information because they may be tired after a long journey and postpone everything to the next day, but believe me that our reception staff is a real information office and we are sorry that they did not have the opportunity to provide you with all the information about the hotel and the island. I am also sorry for the inconvenience of the minibar, this is certainly not what I expect for our guests. I hope to have the opportunity to share with you a 10 points experience next time :)

All the staff were brilliant. Reception is covered by Jean Carlo, Martina and Jelena. They were very helpful and friendly. Happy in their work. Luigi the bar tender was very good and looked after us. 'Colombo' pool cleaner and room cleaner with all the cleaning team were very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel was spotless. Vito the chef makes the best scrambled eggs ever, Vincenzo the maitre looks after the dining area with the loveliest ladies who are on hand to provide for your needs. I had a massage which was amazing. Imma and Nicoletta both very experienced and very respectful. The hotel is very comfortable and has wonderful views of Ischia porto. Many restaurants in walking distance. We stayed 11 days and ate in a different place each night.

Nice hotel in close proximity to many dining options. Walkable from the port and to Aragonese Castle. Parking is off site but we were thankful for that option anyway - the town is tiny. Very nice stuff at the reception

What a great staff! Elena was very kind and helped me learn some words in Italian. Excellent recommendations on dining and local area services like laundry. I was especially fond of the young lady at breakfast; she has quite a sense of humor ("senza latte").

Svarer slet ikke til 4 stjerner
Rigtig søde i receptionen, men selve hotellet svarer overhovedet ikke til 4 stjerner, max. 2,5 stjerne. Virkelig ikke særlig lækkert værelse selvom det var med havneudsigt. Badeværelse med mug i fugerne samt brusekabine direkte ulækkert. Toilettet virkede ikke ordentlig. Swimmingpoolen trænger også virkelig til en opgradering da den var meget beskidt så vi undlod at hoppe i. Så 2,5 stjerne ville nok svare til standarden på hotellet.

Skønt hotel på havnen
Vi havde et skønt ophold på Aragona Palace. Alt var super. Fin italiensk morgenmadsbuffet (kæmpe udvalg af kager). Værelset var velfungerende med masser af skabsplads. Alle medarbejdere på hotellet var rigtig søde og service-mindede. Både indendørs og udendørs pool var varme med vand på ca. 34 grader. Det var specielt og rigtig behageligt. Vi kommer med stor sandsynlighed igen.

Typical Italian hotel. We were welcomed when we arrived early from our ferry ( within walking distance) and given our room, we’d booked one with a harbour view and patio. When we got to the room I found the toilet seat was broken, the excellent reception gentleman offered me another room while we waited for it to be repaired, in actual fact the maintenance man arrived within 10 minutes and replaced the seat so no need. Room very spacious as was the bathroom. Very clean and maid service with fresh towels and linen each day. Bed was very hard as was the single chair and the patio furniture outside, our backs really felt the hardness, could do with a mattress topper. Lovely view of harbour from patio. Air conditioning worked well and was needed as we were there for 5 days in the acute heatwave where the outside temperature was well over 35 each day! Downstairs was also air conditioned and breakfast each day was great. Limited hot food and an abundance of cold meats, cheeses,fruit, yoghurt and cakes Aragon’s palace aperol spritzers were the best on the island! Samples from the downstairs bar and the rooftop terrace! Would recommend this hotel to anybody, top marks

Located on the marina. You can see it as you arrive. Bus station nearby. Close to shopping street and beach. Seafood restaurants nextdoor. Professional staff. Great buffet breakfast. Elevator and pool. Big clean rooms. The best hotel to stay in Ischia.

Sentral beliggenhet i fint område i gangavstand fra ferjekaia. Greie, men litt små rom. Lite bad m/trang dusj. Utdatert stil; hotellet trenger en oppgradering. Litt harde senger. God frokost, men ukoselig innendørs frokostsal, så det anbefales å sitte ute. Flott utsikt fra rommene på framsiden, men en del støy fra gaten/havna. Spa-avdelingen er grei; god massasje, men litt høy pris.

Beautiful building with amazing views and located very conveniently by the port. By far the best hotel if you want to stay near the port and be within walking distance to the town and main shopping/restaurant street. We will definitely come again!

Great Hotel. Great Amenities: 2 pools, one outdoor on the roof and a thermal indoor pool. Area is great, close to bus station and the harbour. The staff was great and always willing to help.

Not ideal
Would never say it’s a 4star hotel. After 2 poor nights sleep was glad to get away, zero air conditioning working throughout the building. Very dated although most Italian hotels are. Had to ring reception regarding the aircon in which they just provided a stand alone fan. Staff was friendly but room/hotel very poor.

Bonne nouvelle en arrivant on nous a surclassé avec balcon et vue sur le port au 1er étage. Malheureusement la chambre est très très bruyante : bruit de la route, des éboueurs à 7h et peu isolée des bruits des chambres voisines (tv, bruit de talon). Literie très moyenne. Chambre très spacieuse et propre. Piscine extérieure et intérieure. Le jardin tout en haut de l’hôtel est magnifique et la vue est splendide. Petit déjeuner moyen (jus de fruits horrible) peu de salé, pâtisseries sucrées correctes. Bien placé près des bus et du port.

The property has the potiental to be amazing but needs updating. The beds were horrible, you felt the springs from the mattress, the shower had some mold and the grout on the tile floors was dirty. The bathroom towels were worn, thin and rough, definitely need new ones. The staff was very nice and the location is great. The hotel just needs to invest some money on upkeep. Definitely NIT a 4 star property.
