”The scenery and ocean was amazing. The upkeep of the grass, flowers and trees were beautiful to gaze upon. Very lowkey and had the pool all to myself. Friendly hotel staff, felt very safe great security men. ”

”We have stayed in many hotels in Negril since 2015 and this is our favorite. It’s so nice. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly helpful, courteous and offer exceptional service. Our meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious and plentiful. Big ups to the staff , the wonderful chefs and especially Parchie for his outstanding bar and restaurant service, music choices and great company. ”Great location by the beach. Continental breakfast was OK, included fruits, bread, cake, juice - sufficient for most mornings. Friendly staff. Location in middle of Seven mile beach, perfect beach access. Good bar and sunbathing area.
On the other hand, we paid an extra for a room with oceanview. Beware, there is a difference between "oceanview" and "partial oceanview"!. In practise, we could just see a glimse of the ocean from our room; the balcony was not facing westwards but southwards.

”I was looking for a home away from home. Mom‘s places is as close as it gets to a wholesome, calm environment with access to everything you may need. I frequent Jamaica often and stayed in many guest houses in many hotels. I’ve even rented from locals and I will say that Mom‘s place exceeds my expectations. I will be returning every time I come to Jamaica. The price is right and the vibes are memorable. Like waking up to smooth jazz in the morning on the beach. ”

”Fantastic property and rooms. Very friendly staff, good parking situation. A little further away from central Negril, and no beach access, but Seven Mile is reachable by car. Must be top notch and packed in the busy season. Would stay again.”

”Travelling solo it was a great place to relax and unwind in September, the pool and beach were beautiful. Room was clean and the fridge was an added bonus. The grounds reminded me of a rain forest especially when it was raining I was still able to sit on my patio and enjoy it.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be back again. ”

”Although, I’ve been to Negril many times before, this was my first time staying at Firefly and I regret not staying there sooner.
The grounds and well maintained, rooms are spacious and clean, staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend and look forward to staying there again!”

”We had an amazing time with our family there. When we had any small issues, mr. Brown was very helpful and quick to react! Highly recommended host. The palapa and the ocean view were top notch! The walk to the private beach is short and no bother at all. ”
