Location in middle of Seven mile beach, perfect beach access. Good bar and sunbathing area. On the other hand, we paid an extra for a room with oceanview. Beware, there is a difference between "oceanview" and "partial oceanview"!. In practise, we could just see a glimse of the ocean from our room; the balcony was not facing westwards but southwards. ”I recently had the opportunity to stay at Firefly Cottages for a period of seven nights, and I must say that I do not feel compelled to return. The accommodations were somewhat rudimentary, as evidenced by the need to manually screw in the light bulb to activate the lighting in the bedroom. Furthermore, the door required the use of a key to secure it from both the inside and outside, which may be perceived as inconvenient by some guests. Unfortunately, the television was not functioning...

”All the staff except for front desk was very helpful and sweet. Housekeeping informed us on day 1 that the spare key to our room was lost so she couldn’t clean our room. It took 4 days of asking at front desk and finally tracking down management ourselves to solve the issue. They compensated us with a free meal which was very appreciated. Front desk staff ignored our requests to copy our key for housekeeping. To me, front desk is a weak link in the chain of customer service here. Otherwise,...

”Way to loud. There was a special concert provided mostly for locals the night we stayed. We were prepared for loud music til midnight or 2 am, but it was loud until past 4 in the morning. They should have had security get people to quiet down so the paying hotel guests could get a little sleep. I will never stay there again.”

”Nice clean and very peaceful place. Bring earplugs if neigbourhood dogs have party at night. :) In walking distance good restaurants, especially Murphy's! Great view from the pool.”
