”Lovely little gem with comfortable rooms and a fantastic shower. It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!”

”Warm welcome from staff at reception. Room was clean and comfortable although a little dated. No air conditioning, had to leave windows open which then creates problems with outside noise. Bathroom spacious but also very dated. Shower in bath not ideal, no extractor fan. Hotel is brilliantly located for city centre, Barbican and train station and car park is located right underneath hotel which is so convenient and secure. Bar and staff very pleasant. ”The area, the room, the owner, the atmosphere- everything was just perfect! We slept super well and enjoyed a good breakfast while chatting with other visitors and the owner. There are great restaurants nearby and if you arrive or leave by ferry, the guest house is just 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. We warmly recommend staying here! ”

”Everything about the hotel and staff was perfect. The only thing that we had issue with was the parking arrangements. Our Expedia booking included free parking, but apparently parking is only guaranteed when booking directly with the hotel. Expedia were not transparent about this. Hence, on the first night, we had to park on the street and pay £14.40 for five hours...waiting for an allocated hotel parking space on a first-come, first-served basis to become available.”
