Thick duvet, comfy pillow and fresh sheets. 24h reception is key especially when you have no idea when you are arriving. Be it a budget transportation or just your ability to get stuck in odd situations that just happen while travelling. I had my own travel towel so didn't rent one. Shower was ok. On my short stay I didn't get water that...
