Motel 6 – Kaakkois-Florida, Florida

”Staff was friendly, but.. We had to check out the same evening we checked in as the room 150 was crowded with insects. Demanded and was promised a full refund so waiting for that now. I’ve been to very rough places but its not suitable to house anybody in these conditions.”

”Horrific! Dirty and disgusting. The room and the whole property were filthy. The whole building was sweating; the walls and everything in the room were wet or damp, with water droplets on the ceiling dripping unless you had the A/C blasting on the lowest setting all the time. Water in hallways, on the floor, in the elevator, which was filthy, too, by the way. The motel should be closed due to health concerns.”

”The room was very clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel common areas could use a cleaning but that seems not a function of the guests than the property, which does a nice job of keeping the inside rooms clean. Only complaint: the ice bucket seemed dingy so I used.some plastic cups I had. Again, I suspect that's more a reflection of the prior guests. Still, in the interest of full disclosure.”
