”My husband, myself and our dog extended our stay here to 2 weeks.The space is very comfortable and well equipped. I had to work while here and found the internet to be strong and stable . The host is very responsive and wanted to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.You can't beat the location, as it gets the morning sun and is an easy walk to the main street.We would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy space close to town.”

”I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

The fresh cut flowers were just another great touch.The bed was comfortable beyond belief and the water pressure in the shower was a pleasant surprise.
