”Mossbrae Hotel is a small and elegant place to stay right on the Main Street in Dunsmuir. You can walk to a couple cafes nearby (but not open all days). I was in room 4 and it was lovely and the bed very comfy, tho it did crick when I turned over. Lol. TV has many apps to choose from. Shower very large and nice. I enjoyed my stay very much and will certainly stay there again when visiting family there. ”

”This is an excellent value and very convenient! Rooms are always clean, its quiet, and we appreciate the midway stop. We occasionally use this local family owned location when we are headed to a very early or back late from a flight out of Sacto Airport and it gets too late to make it home to our rural home after visiting family in the valley. A great place to stop! ”

Less expensive rooms are not on the ponds or river. the spa sets by the river very nice atmosphere.The rooms by the river are more expensive but if you're staying more than one night it might be worthwhile.”
