"Hotel is centrally located in the Loop. Easy to access from multiple metro stations. Very stylish hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. The hotel room was relatively large, and the bathroom, in particular, was spacious. Both the room and the hotel were very clean and reasonably well soundproofed. The beds were perhaps even too soft. The room included a refrigerator, which is always a plus. The breakfast was excellent, though very expensive by European standards, as every item had to be ordered individually. The pricing via Hotels.com was also confusing in this regard; we had pre-ordered the breakfast as part of our room package, yet we were still charged a significant amount each morning."

"Generally speaking, we had a wonderful stay! The window seats were a BIG hit for us all and we spent many hours sitting in them, watching people, cars and boats. The location could not be beat and we were able to walk just about everywhere. The river is literally steps away. If you're booking a suite, paying extra for the river view is absolutely worth it! However, advertising the suite as suitable for 4 adults is a joke. We were travelling with 2 adults + 1 child (12 y/o) and it was just about okay for us. I tested the sofa bed and I would NOT be happy to sleep in it, let alone have 2 adults share it. It was very creaky and not supportive at all, but for one child under teenage years, it worked. Bring earplugs as the riverwalk does attract party people at all hours (constant drumming throughout the night) and the streets have non-stop traffic, including emergency vehicles. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to pick another location. We will be happy to return to L7 the next time we're in Chicago!"
