”What a treat to stay in this elegantly whimsical hotel! My stay in the Scottie Dog Room was top tier! Mary and Lorna (forgive me if I didn’t remember her name correctly) made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I had the incredible opportunity to attend their Murder Mystery Dinner and no detail was left untouched- the food, the company, the service and overall experience was a 12/10. Cannot wait to book a trip back to stay here again! ”

”Fred the host was brilliant, extremely helpful, guest house was very clean and was kept in great condition. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Met some interesting people there over breakfast which is always nice. Will stay again when I come up to visit our grandchildren .”

”A lovely property. Everything fresh and clean from the bedding to the bathroom and towels. Delicious breakfast. Una and Morton were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble from serving tea and cake when we arrived to supplying me with toothpaste when I found i hadn't packed mine! Would highly recommend.”

”Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. When the dish came i was given an extra small portion of chips😁 its the little things that make a difference. Quiet at nights no...

”This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that.
