”Very dated corridors and stairs to room access, lots of small steps along corridors potential trip hazards. Stairs in the annex building were very awkward to negotiate. Poorly ventilated room with one window no A/C, no refrigerator…get what you pay for..”

”We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. ”First off, we weren’t in the main hotel building, so I can’t comment on that other than it looked ok from reception. We were in the row of rooms to the right of of the main entrance, along the main road. A surprisingly noisy main road. The room was spacious, but stank of wet dog.
