”We have stayed there before and no problems
The food is excellent and plenty of choice
At first the bed was dirty but it was cleaned and changed straight away and the lovely lady who saw to it couldn't be more apologetic
The swimming pool was very crowded and In my opinion should be governed as there were no staff around
The grounds are really nice and pleasant
The bar area and separate seating areas and very good and we sat and watched the cup final”

”We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

”Nice place above a nice bar.
Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks.
Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town.
Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do.
Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”
