”Check in was different, but once we figured it out, it was very easy as well as check-out. It snowed quite a bit (in May) and we were a little concerned about the steep driveway, wasn't a problem. ”Great location for the unbelievably beautiful Lake Tahoe. Slight issues with contactless check-in as I had 2 messages about credit card not being accepted, the second one after I'd called them and processed payments over the phone the day before (in response to the first message). At the time we arrived, another couple were trying to contact Firelite as they hadn't received the necessary information to access their room. So something isn't right with their process and you may need to be prepared...

”The resort was very communicative before the stay and during, letting us know there was construction days before checking in. They were quick to respond when we had questions and welcoming when we arrived. The staff was great and the room was a welcome relief after a horrifying 2 nights at Motel 6 in Palm Springs and a previous 1 night stay in North Las Vegas. Paul was very helpful at check in and within 10 minutes in the room we decided to stay a second night and Fredi was equally great when we went down to see if we could keep our room.
