Täyden kympin resortti aivan rannalla
Huone rannan suuntaan on hintansa väärti. Henkilökunta hyväntuulista ja palvelualtista.Jollei meressä uiminen miellytä on myös kaksi isohkoa allasaluetta joista valita. Kuntosalilla sai perustreenin tehtyä. Muista aktiviteeteista esim. tenniskentät, sinne saatavat tennismailat olivat jo parhaat päivänsä nähneet. Hotelli sijaitsee hyvällä etäisyydellä lähistön ravintoloista ja pikkukaupoista. Pääsee kävelemään joko rantaa tai tietä pitkin.

Loistava resortti, loistavalla sijainnilla. Voin suositella kaikille hotellia. Sisäänkirjautuminen onnistui vaivatta ja palkinnoksi tuli vielä huoneen upgreidaus parempiin maisemiin. Aamupala oli ok, tietysti aina aasialaisten hotellin aamupaloissa on parannettavaa omasta mielestä. Erittäin rauhallinen ranta josta vartijat huolehtivat että vain oman resortin väki on salittu makoilemaan palmujen alla. Suosittelen!

pidin alueesta ja huoneistosta sekä ystävällisestä henkilökunnasta. A’la carte menettelee jos tykkää thai, kiinalaisesta tai paikallisista mauista. Muuten hieman suppea menyy. Vaihtoehtona iltaisin oli grillibuffetti joka ehkä iltapalaksi hintava ( 35€ ) . Ruoka oli hyvää ja Buffa runsas.

Nice hotel, nice location
The lobby was clean and staff was helpful and welcoming. All the facilities were explained well upon arrival. We had a seaview room which was roomy and very comfortable. Generally really nice room. Only issue we noticed was broken toilet flush button which was changed to new one immediately after we let the staff know there was a fault. Breakfast was as expected, overally good but nothing too special. Note that if you want to enjoy your breakfast outside you should not leave your food unguarded since the birds take their changes immediately. Utherwise they are for no harm. The gym was a slight dissapointment with limited selection of equipment and they were not in their best condition anymore. Tennis is also available with no extra costs, unfortunately the booth for rackets didn't open as informed (9am) one morning and we were have to head to gym instead. Maybe we could have got the rackets from lobby but we were in a hurry since it was our day of departure.

Allas alueita oli kaksi ja kummatkin olivat isoja. Hieno ranta myös vieressä. Hotelli on oikein hyvällä paikalla ja rantaa pitkin voi kävellä suoraan cenangin ytimeen. Aamupala paikkoja oli myös kaksi ja aamupala oli myös oikein hyvä.

Third stop in Malaysia tour
Third destination in our Malaysia tour. From high grade city hotel, followed by smaller "close to night life" hotel in previous destinations, in Langkawi we chose Resort hotel. Meritus was grand and visually very nice with it's own pools, gardens and beach. However at the same time it was by far most expensive compared to our other destinations. With all it's grandure, I felt I did need to pay bit too much for the value I personally gain. Location was good with direct access to beach, ~10min walk to restaurant area. Activity tours were easily arranged. Staff very friendly as should expect in resort. For family trip great place to stay, for couple traveling I likely consider cheaper place next time.

Beautiful hotel near beach
We visited hotel for four days and we loved it. Everything was so near, like beach, pools, shops and restaurants. Drinks were quite expensive in hotel, but there were cheaper bars nearby. Customer service was very good!

GWに初めてランカウイ島へ行きました。 ビーチが目の前で、繁華街からも近いのでペランギビーチホテルに決めました。 滞在中は全て天気が良かったので、ホテルのプールで毎日のんびりと過ごすことができました。 暑かったので、プールに日除けが付いてるのがとても良かったです。 1つだけエアコンの調節が快適にならなかったのが残念。 夕食や買い物もホテルから徒歩圏内なので、とても便利でした。 初めてランカウイ島に行くなら、お勧めのホテルです。

Die renovierten Zimmer mit Meerblick sind wirklich super. Ein großer Balkon mit zwei Stühlen hat man auch. Am Strand sind ausreichend liegen und Schattenplätze. Die beiden Pools sind wirklich auch sehr schön angelegt. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht. Dieses war ausgesprochen lecker. Man hatte die Auswahl zwischen zwei frühstückslokalen. Beide sind zu empfehlen. Fussläufig sind zahlreiche Restaurants , Bar und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Great beach location and overall hotel excellent. Good spacious rooms too. The pools (2 of them) were great sizes and there was a children’s fun pool too. The surrounding town has some authentic Malayan restaurants but for those not use to holidaying or traveling in Asia they may seem a little basic but the food is pretty good overall. Hotel has a great breakfast choice and the evening meals were a good option for those clients chose to stay on resort

We had a great 5 night stay. Our room was had an island view with balcony where we could sit and watch the sunset. We used the large cascade pool (the other pool was more for families) which was great. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and two locations to choose from. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is a short taxi/Grab ride to the airport and it was easy to walk into town either along the beach or the road.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The property is really nice with great facilities. Our toddler enjoyed the kids pool. Very friendly, caring and helpful staff that genuinely was interested in providing service. The first 2 days of our stay, we felt that service could be more efficient but after that we had no issues at all. We loved the dinner buffet and the overall vibe on the weekend. We definitely would recommend this property to our friends and family.

‘Be stayed many times over the years.’ The recent infrastructure changes have led to significant improvements in key areas (rooms brighter; cascade pool now larger bigger bar). However the main reception area has lost much of its charm (not much of a social area anymore) and the service levels have dropped somewhat. The staff are as lovely as always, but it all feels a bit ‘corporate’ compared to a few years ago when ‘attention to detail’ seemed to matter more.

Hotel is older but very well maintained. Staff are excellent! Breakfast was a solid B, but could use some added options. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but the VIP Access was never acknowledged or offered in any manner. I highly recommend this property for convenience and affordability.

Good: Located in Cenang, location is walkable to the main street or cheap Grab ride away from everything. Refurbished cascade pool, great staff, large rooms which are clean and refurbished. Off peak season low prices as compared to other properties. We stayed during Chinese new year when the price was same as Westin. Great for kids, new kids club plus animal farm. Spa is new reasonably priced and exceptional service Bad : Food is crap sorry there are no other words to describe it. The main pool will be nice once refurbished (planned between July2024 to Dec 2024) in current state I was concerned either myself or my kid will step on a broken tile and cut ourselves. Again we tried all three food outlets the lobby, Pelangi and spice, offerings are expensive and worst I have tried in an 5star property. If you skip the food I will be repeat customer for food I will go to nextdoor Casa Del Mar(walking) for dinner or lunch and smiling buffalo for breakfast(7 ringgit grab ride). Dec to April is dry seasons we had brown water coming out of tap but were assured it was already treated, so stuck to bottled water and no one got sick so it was indeed treated. 2024 Jan-Feb was exceptionally dry in Langkawi. Property facilities are being renovated and if the main pool is refurbished we might revisit and hope the F&B offering improves. No upgrade or great perks with VIP access (gold) but may be it was peak season with Chinese new year. Gym: add rowing machine and more instruments
