Short visit before flight
We stayed for the last night before flying back home. Would stay longer definately. The rooms are overpriced, but very good! Nice restaurants close by. Fantastic beach and a nice rum bar.

Ridiculously overprized
Bad service, exception see 4. 1. Reception: Trainee screwed up constantly and other staff did not seem to care. On arrival I waited for the room in the lobby for 2 hrs. Despite having promised to tell me, they made me ask for it 4 times. When trying to get info, people jumping the line were served first. On checking out, we asked them send bellboy for two heavy bags. After a 15 min wait, asked again, "oh are you leaving NOW?". Eventually 45 min of waiting, nobody bothered telling us (even if they themselves said so PLUS told us specifically they will come to the lobby INSIDE) that the bags were already in the cloakroom OUTSIDE. Had to ask 3 times. 2. Bathroom: water from tap splashing all over the place (other than the hands), on the wooden desk that, of course, looked gross as a result. Fortunately beds were good. 3. Restaurants: In a la carte Lobster 60€, bad wine 30€, we were made stand 20 min and people behind us were served, tables organized etc before us, and we had a reservation! Birds literally eating from breakfast buffet, staff ignored. 4. The helpfulness of the technical staff made a difference: they rescued my painting that had fallen down the shoreline embankment while I was sketching there on a windy day. On checkout I gave the receptionist some cards to be forwarded to them as a sign of my gratitude. Instead he called one of them there (which I did not ask since I did not want to disturb him). I could shake his hand once again, but was he ever given the cards?

The only negative thing I thought was that it was challenging to find the room…, I checked in at about 9:30pm or so, someone took my bags to my room. I thought that they could have waited and just directed me to the room at the same time. It is a big resort.

Personnel agréable, divers choix de restauration de bonne qualité, petit déjeuner proposant un large choix avec des produits de bonne qualité. L'hôtel propose une plage privée, une grande piscine, un bar ouvert toute la journée jusqu'au soir tres agréable, une salle de sport tout à fait correcte, le tout bien entretenu, soigné. L'endroit est très agréable, il possède de nombreux endroits où se reposer.. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées. Séjour parfait!

Resort is overall what I was looking for in cleanliness, convenience, relaxing, and taking in some sun. Car rental is a must if you plan to venture out.

Friendly ish staff (depending which area, friendly overall but behind the bars). Bathroom v dated (tiles and sanitaries : bath and basin vanity), very poor AC (complained on how hot the temperature was in room so a nice electrician came and said it’s set at 24.4 degrees and that’s that!) therefore set much too high!! It made our stay difficult as it’s 32/34 degrees outside! The pool itself the one nearer to beach) seen better days ( really dirty where the liner meets the surrounding pavement), the ladder quite dodgy and a few tiles missing too. Definitely not a 4 stars, more like a 3! food buffet good and friendly staff in Reception and restaurant area.

This was our third trip to La Creole Beach hotel and we had a wonderful stay! The buffet food was terrific, the service was efficient, and the beach is always beautiful. You almost don't want to recommend this gem because what makes it great is that it is more laid back than a lot of traditional hotels in the Caribbean. You don't have to fight for a seat at the pool or beach and it really is the definition of relaxation on such a beautiful island.

We stayed for just two days after a week sailing around Guadeloupe, and had a very enjoyable time. La Creole caters mostly to French vacationers, so many of the staff had only marginal English ability.

Belles prestations ( bars, concerts, salle de sport, piscine…) mais personnel très très antipathique, un accueil glacial quotidien, même pas de au revoir à la fin du séjour au moment de payer… À part une ou deux jeunes filles du service , le reste du personnel ne vous salue jamais, aucun sourire ou vous répond de manière agressive . Un manque total de professionnalisme pour un hôtel de ce standing. Nous déconseillons…

It is supposed to be a four-star resort. It hasn't been upgraded for years. The staff is unfriendly, at times rude. It's outrageously expensive compared to other hotels on the island. It has a great website, but the reality is more modest. We paid for the most expensive room and asked for a king-size bed, veranda, and ocean-view. When we got such room with no view, they moved us to one with view, but two beds. Our check in time was delayed by more than an hour for no reason. During the stay, the food quality is more like Holiday Inn than a resort. Hot tea or coffee is not available, but instead warm is as hot as it gets. Not only would I not recommend this place, I'd ask Expedia to consider removing them from your offerings as it reflects bad on your judgment.

Problème de climatisation durant toute la semaine. Chaque jour, le personnel nous indiquait que ce serait réparer le lendemain. Quand j'ai demandé un geste en fin de semaine, rien n'a été fait même pas un départ tardif.

On nous annonce à notre arrivée pour 3 jours que la climatisation est en panne dans tout l'hôtel. On se dit ok ca arrive, ce sera très certainement réparé le lendemain. Malheureusement, le lendemain on se renseigne et ils ne savent pas. Pas d'excuses, pas de compensation.. A noter, que nous retrouvons des cafards dans la salle de bain des petits et des gros, et la encore on en informe la réception qui nous dises qu'ils prennent note mais toujours pas d'excuses. Le brunch du soir et du matin sont corrects mais services médiocres, ce sont des étudiants non encadrés. Pour un 4 étoiles, c'est déplorable. Nous avons préféré partir.

Clim ne fonctionne pas
Séjour Horrible. Un ami passe quelque jours avant me prévient que la climatisation n’était pas fonctionnelle lors de son séjour. Je me suis dit que ça avait été réparé…et bien non! Une chaleur toute la nuit et aucune solution de proposee. Comment peux t on réellement envisager de proposer de telles chambres sans climatisation et sans aucune compensation ??!!!
