”This hotel could be a 5 star if: 1. They got rid of the low boy toilets 2. They got a better toilet paper - it is truly paper, bring your own 3. They had handheld shower head 4. They had better coffee in the room and in the breakfast area”

”We have stayed here twice before, it’s been several years. The rooms are as clean as they can be but very outdated. The shower head in our bathroom was chest high on this 5’10” person. The water couldn’t be contained and sprayed outside of the tub. The old linoleum floor was super slippery and I nearly did the splits walking across the floor. It was a near miss bad fall. It is sad to see what was a nicer place fall below expectations for the cost.”

”We got there late at night around 11pm because we were doing a roadtrip coming from afar. Office was closed but staff was inside as expected of a motel there should be a night shift staff assigned. Instead of him welcoming us he just said “Office was closed an hour ago”. So what? You have a motel business even if your guest arrived in the wee hour there’s should always be an available staff to check in unless it was clearly stated in the reservation that there is a time limit for when to check...

”Parking was not available unless you wanted to move your car every two hours or risk unsafe areas. Breakfast was available at restaurant. Staff when onsite were great but often not there. Room was clean. Noise outside was terrible. No AC so windows were open. Will not be back.”

”We had a nice room looking out over the Columbia River, which is pretty much right out the back door of the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We’d stay there again.”

”There was anything you might need. The room was very homey and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. Yogurt with fresh berries, individual egg dishes, bacon, potatoes and toast with raspberry jam.”

”This hotel is so cool and it’s in a great location. There were earl plugs in the room , in case the sea lions were loud and we were lucky, we didn’t have to use them. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very unique. The free champagne was a nice way to start our vacation. The outside saunas are neat and the deck is a great place to relax. Being from Florida , I’m used to air conditioning everywhere, so not having it was scary at first but the weather was perfect during the end of June.”

”I was charged for a queen bed, it was a full bed. There was no complimentary shampoo available, and I forgot to bring one. I was told by Expedia that they had rollaway beds, they did not. They did not have a coffee pot in the room, you had to go to the lobby. The only good things were that the small bed was comfortable and the location of the motel was nice.”

I had a situation that wasn’t professionally handled by the staff in the property but when I called the Hilton 800 number the issue was addressed and taken care of. Hopefully the staff will be better trained to handle customer complaint in an efficient and professional way. Will stay in the hotel again. Thanks.”
