”Outside of town, nice to be away from all the hubbub but still close enough to resupply easily. Pack in and out essentially. Good kitchenette accomodations (plates, cookware, salt/pepper, coffee fixings). Great little place to get away. 2 small cons: Payment was required much sooner than check in, which I didn't expect when booking through Expedia. The propane tank we dead empty, so I had to refill in town. Even then, the grill barely warmed up to cook out shrimp.”

”This place was the perfect place for solitude and family connection. The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. ”

”Lori’s home was just what we needed. Comfortable beds, beautiful yard, and plenty of parking. It’s a good distance from town, so be sure to have what you need when you head there. My only suggestion is to offer a few more spices/sugar for coffee. In short, we were very happy with our stay, ”

The views of the glaciers are absolutely breathtaking it’s something we never get tired of. The location is perfect: central enough to easily explore a variety of activities in the area, yet still peaceful and scenic.Catkin is a fantastic host always responsive, welcoming, and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.
