I was lucky to find the Underwood Hale House had a private modernized apartment available close by solving many of our immediate issues: parking and both of us getting a good night's sleep! ”This house is in a perfect location to walk to everything you want to enjoy in Newport. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't need it again the whole stay. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need to relax and they even serve homemade baked goods for breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed at Admiral Syms house and will definitely be back.”

”Stay away! Our experience was awful and led to our immediate departure from the property. We checked in and found the assigned condo to be in an unacceptable, uninhabitable condition. The unit was run down, and we discovered significant cleanliness issues including pubic hair on the toilet and in the shower, mold around the shower tub drain and behind a toilet, unclean sinks, and badly stained kitchen chairs. ”Great location and wonderful stay! Close to everything, including the free #67 bus (in between 2 of the stops), 15-minute walk to 2 grocery stores, darling restaurants and pubs are a block away. Quiet location and spacious for a family of 4. The only small issue was the laundry; it is onsite but not in the unit, you will need to bring quarters and detergent. Newport was one stop on our trip and doing laundry was a key reason for choosing the unit. Other than that, I would not hesitate to book...

”Enjoyed our short stay here. Location was definitely the highlight as it is a perfect spot to walk Newport downtown area for sights, restaurants, shopping, coffee etc. We did not have any issues with access or safety and felt comfortable with our kids in tow. Parking was hit or miss but expected during busy summer season and we overall did pretty well finding a spot. Would definitely return in the future”
