Lets start by stating that we are not the demographic that this hotel seems to be aiming at.(60 ) The good-very central to the west end theatres and at most a 1/2 hour walk to most of the major tourist attractions in London-Very near to 3 tube stations. The 10th floor restaurant has amazing views over London. Make a reservation if you want a table. The room was small but the bed was comfortable with nice reading lights built into the headboard, and even though we faced onto Charing Cross Road, the room was very quiet.
The bad - You had to self check in- very small lobby, no staff greeting you, just a computer screen and instructions. The room had a minimalist amenities, no TV, no chair to sit on, not even a box of tissues in the bathroom. The only place to sit was a strange pink plastic bunny in the corner. You can see it on the website pictures. The hotels theme motto is Live Life, but if you have been out for 11 or 12 hours exploring London, it would be nice to have somewhere to sit other than the bed.
The bathroom lighting, while probably cool from a designers view, was terrible if you want to shave or put on makeup. Your face is completely shadowed.
There were staff behind a wall near the entry lobby, but they seemed to be more security and the only interaction we had was when we checked out. Other than that they seemed to ignore guests.
A decent hotel if you are just in London for a day or 2 to see a couple of theatre shows, but for longer stays, there are better hotels.
