Location location location
The location is just perfect. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very basic but clean. Calling it a suite was a bit of a stretch ;-) The only actual downside was the lack of a table and a chair or two. There was hardly any counter space to put your stuff on. All in all we had a good stay and would definitely go again.

Loistava sijainti mutta siihen se jäikin. Ensin annettiin ikkunaton huone vaikka olin maksanut ikkunallisesta. Saimme sellaisen kuitenkin valituksen jälkeen. Todella pieni ja kuuma huone. AC:ta ei pystynyt säätämään. Sisääntuloaulassa maalattiin, hirveän hajuista maalia. Respa oli sen näköinen että mietti uskaltaakohan tänne jättää laukkuja ulostsekkauksen jälkeen. Ei enää ikinä tänne.

Lets start by stating that we are not the demographic that this hotel seems to be aiming at.(60 ) The good-very central to the west end theatres and at most a 1/2 hour walk to most of the major tourist attractions in London-Very near to 3 tube stations. The 10th floor restaurant has amazing views over London. Make a reservation if you want a table. The room was small but the bed was comfortable with nice reading lights built into the headboard,and even though we faced onto Charing Cross Road, the room was very quiet. The bad - You had to self check in- very small lobby, no staff greeting you, just a computer screen and instructions. The room had a minimalist amenities, no TV, no chair to sit on, not even a box of tissues in the bathroom. The only place to sit was a strange pink plastic bunny in the corner. You can see it on the website pictures. The hotels theme motto is Live Life, but if you have been out for 11 or 12 hours exploring London, it would be nice to have somewhere to sit other than the bed. The bathroom lighting, while probably cool from a designers view, was terrible if you want to shave or put on makeup. Your face is completely shadowed. There were staff behind a wall near the entry lobby, but they seemed to be more security and the only interaction we had was when we checked out. Other than that they seemed to ignore guests. A decent hotel if you are just in London for a day or 2 to see a couple of theatre shows, but for longer stays, there are better hotels.

Hotel is located in a central area very easy to get around London from, the rooms are very small not comfortable for more than a few days stay but OK for solo/couples, no other issues!

I recently stayed at the Assembly and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a series of letdowns that made my stay far from enjoyable. First and foremost, there was no TV in the room. While I understand some people might prefer a tech-free environment, It felt like a significant oversight for the price I paid. Additionally, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. I was quite surprised to find there was no kettle available either. For a hotel in this price range, I expected at least the basic amenities to make my stay comfortable. The staff behaviour was another major issue. They were both weird and rude, making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout my stay. Any questions or requests were met with either a dismissive attitude or outright rudeness, which is simply unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Security is always a priority for me when traveling, so I was extremely disappointed to discover there was no safe inside the room. This added to my overall sense of discomfort and insecurity during my stay. Given all these issues, I can confidently say that the stay was not worth the price I paid. The lack of basic amenities and the poor service made it a highly regrettable experience. I will never go back to Assembly and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I booked the windowless room so I didn’t have high expectations to begin with but it was by far the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The bed was on the floor pinned against the wall so it was slightly inconvenient getting in and out of bed without hitting my partner. All you get is a bed, toilet, sink and shower. It was hard to fit with all of our luggage. The staff was friendly.

The location of the property was excellent - just 3 mins walk to Leicester Square tube station, a 7 to 10 min stroll away from Covent Garden and the surrounding shopping and dining area. Cleanliness and availability of amenities in the room was conversely less than desired.. spotted ants in the room, room did not have any TV, no bottled water, no kettle for hot water for the cold weather too :(

The stay was good. I felt safe and the surrounding area was convenient for shopping and social activities. The only things I didn’t love, was the darkness of the properly and there was a smell in the room, almost like mold. It wasn’t overwhelming enough to negatively affect my stay but enough to give a “good” rating be “excellent.”

The staff was excellent in getting the room ready even though we arrived early. The location was excellent since it was close to everything we needed to see. The room was smaller than expected , but okay for 2 people. The bed was a bit lumpy. The main problems were the sink and shower faucets. When you start turning to the hot water, annoying noise would continue until you turn them off. It sounded like old pipes groaning. You had to find a certain turn to quiet them down, but then the noises start again. We were able to tolerate the noises for 3 straight days since we didn’t want to change rooms.

The staff was outstanding. The location was outstanding-one block to Leicester Square, numerous theaters and restaurants nearby. The hotel is newly finished and very clean and nice. But the hotel lacks some typical things, which is apparently its business model. No television. No desk or chair, so no place to sit other than the bed. No place to set suitcases. No ice available. The bed had a duvet but no separate sheet so only heavy cover. Odd corner-cutting which severely impacted the pleasure of staying there.

Fantastic location close to Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. Excellent sound proofing. Friendly and helpful staff. It only lacked tea making facilities

Das Hotel liegt Mega zentral und insbesondere Musical Besucher haben zu Fuß kurze Wege! Wir hatten glücklicher Weise ein Zimmer für Rollstuhlfahrer und somit genug Platz! Leider konnte der Raum lediglich über die Klima „gelüftet“ werden, so dass im Bad der ein oder andere Schimmelfleck wahrscheinlich ganz normal ist. Zu Aufbewahrung gab es zwei Nachttisch Schubladen und eine „Garderobe“ direkt am Bett. Hier könnte man mit wenig Aufwand viel erreichen. Für unseren Aufenthalt war es dennoch perfekt: Lage, Lage, Lage… Und aus der Tube ist man nach 100m am Hotel, weitere ca. 150m am Leicester Square… Einfach MEGA!
