Beautiful home-from-home in Forest Hill - easy access to Central London!

A beautiful and spacious four bedroom house in a very quiet residential street on the border of Forest Hill, Catford and Honor Oak. This is our family home that we are opening up to guests when we are away. The house is perfectly suited to families, with two very comfortable double rooms (super king and king sized beds), a single or twin room (with single bed and optional trundle) and a child’s room with cot-bed. This house has been recently renovated, with a new kitchen and bathrooms, and stylishly designed throughout, striking the perfect balance of comfort and practicality. The house is situated on a very quiet street, with free parking at all times.

The house sleeps up to EITHER 4 adults, 2 children and 1-2 toddlers/infants OR 5 adults and 1-2 toddlers/infants. We can also provide an additional travel cot on request, adding space for another infant.

The downstairs space includes one entrance hallway (with coat rack and shoe storage), one large open plan kitchen and dining room (with underfloor heating and double patio doors), one reception room that doubles up as a children’s playroom (toys for ages 1-5), one cosy living room with smart TV, and one WC.

The first floor space includes one large double bedroom (with super king sized double bed), one child’s room with cot bed, and one large bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower.

The second floor space includes one double bedroom (with king sized double bed) and one single bedroom (with optional second trundle bed) that can double up as an office space, and one shower room. The single room is best suited to EITHER one adult OR two young children if using the trundle. Please be aware that when the trundle is out there is not much additional floor space in the room - it’s nice and cosy but quite tight!

The outside space is very large for a London property, with a 20sqm patio area and 60sqm lawn. In summer months there will be an outdoor sofa and dining area for you to enjoy.

Overall, the house is well suited for young children with a high chair, playroom and plenty of books and toys. We can provide an additional travel cot for an infant on request. For an adults only booking we can close off the toddler room on the first floor and put children’s items out of sight.

The house is ideally located for fast and easy access to central London. Catford, Catford Bridge, and Forest Hill stations are all within a 10–15 minute walk, offering frequent trains and Overground services. From Catford Bridge, you can reach London Charing Cross in around 25 minutes, and from Catford, London Bridge in about 25 minutes. Forest Hill sits on the London Overground’s Windrush line, with direct connections to Canada Water, Shoreditch, Highbury & Islington, and easy interchanges for Canary Wharf and the City. The area is also well served by multiple bus routes to Lewisham, Bromley, and beyond, making it perfectly positioned for exploring or commuting across London.
