Loistava sijainti, muuten kohtalainen
Loisto sijainti 5min kävelymatka Paddington asemalle. Hiljainen katu (jos nyt Lontoon keskustassa semmoinen löytyy) pienen puiston vieressä. Olosuhteisiin nähden siisti mutta tunkkainen ja homeen haju jäi jopa vaatteisiin.

Good location, nice staff, ok room. No fancy stuff, but basics worked. The breakfast was very good, I was surprised in a positive way by that. Bread, egg, coffee included. The breakfast room is small, so guests likely have to share tables, but thats no problem!

Kiva perushotelli hyvällä paikalla
Kaunis viktoriaaninen rakennus puiston reunalla. Kiva pikku hotelli, mutta ei sovi huonojalkaiselle portaidensa vuoksi. Jos kaipaa perustason hotellia Paddingtonista hyvien kulkuyhteyksien vierestä, eikä halua maksaa huoneestaan maltaita, niin tätä kannattaa harkita. Huoneen ilmainen wifi pätki ajoittain, muuten huone ok, ei mitään ihmeellistä, mutta kaikki tarvittava. Mainiot kulkuyhteydet metrolla ja busseilla, sekä junalla Heathrow'lle. Paljon ruokapaikkoja lähettyvillä.

Konserttimatkan yövyntä
Kahden yön konserttimatka hyvien yhteyksien varrella. Hotellin turvallinen ja rauhallinen ympäristö. Hinta-laatusuhde kohdillaan. Yksinkertainen aamiainen, lisämaksusta ymmärtääkseni myös englantilainen aamiainen. Yövyin yhdem hengen huoneessa, omalla wc/suihkulla. Huone oli melko lämmin, hellelukemat ulkona. Normi englantilalnen pieni huone. Iso plus pieni jääkaappi sekä sittenkin ilmainen ja ihan hyvin toimiva wifi omassa huoneessa. Hissi puuttui, mutta kun ei ollut niin painava laukku kulkukin oli helpompaa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, tsekkaukset sujui jouhevasti. Suosittelen, mikäli etsit ihan perusluokkaista asumista. Peili sijaitsi ainoastaan wc:ssa, joten föönäystä ilman peiliä.

Bathroom was old and small and had to carry heavy luggage up to the 4th. Room had a smell like old carpets. Everything in the room is outdated.

Très bon emplacement pour l'hôtel pour visiter Londres, seul réel atout. Malheureusement l'établissement est trop petit que ce soit les chambres avec une salle de bain très étroite et un lavabo pas très pratique. Pour le petit déjeuner, il manque des places, l'endroit est très aixigu, et la qualité du petit déjeuner est à revoir, il n'y a pas assez de choix. Malgré tout cela, nous avons pu visiter Londres à moindre coût et c'est pas si mal. Merci.

Die Einrichtung des Shakespeares Hotel (eigentlich im Dolphin gebucht), ist einfach. Leider fehlte mir eine Nachttischlampe, und die Zimmertüren sind nur Schwingtüren und bleiben daher nicht auf, d. h. um ins Bad zu gehen musste ich ständig die Türe ständig auf machen, was ich umständlich fand. Dafür gab es Tee und Kaffee sowie einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Das Personal und auch das Frühstück waren gut. Die U Bahn stört allerdings etwas.

Great location. Nice Hotel in London style. No lift, that is heavy with laguage. All clean and easy to stay there. Breakfirst 6£ Continental. Super good. Fresh Fruits. Only minus star: not enough space in the Breakfirst room, and waiters a bit pushy in adling you, if you are ready with breakfirst.... other guests are waiting for places. But everything else perfect in the hotel.

This hotel was run very well. Staff were very helpful and kept the place very clean. The 6 pound breakfast was a great option. Very close to Paddington station so easy to get around

The heating in the room did not work, there was only a small electric radiator. The faucet on the sink is nice but inconvenient as the waterfall is too big for the small sink. :)

Dear Kerstin,We are sorry to hear you did not have heating. Some of the radiators are manually regulated, yours could have been manually turned off, we also have heating in intervals due to complaints from the rooms without the option for manual regulation. Guests have complained their rooms are too hot, therefore we started practicing heating in intervals (off during the day unless the outside temperature drops and automatic heating in intervals during the night). We understand some guests stay with us due to proximity of the hospital and we provide electric heaters for those guests during the day. Should you book with us again, please ask the reception for more information. Kind regards.

Service au top, chambre confortable mais pas beaucoup de place pour les valises, salle de bain minuscule, pas d’ascenseur et escaliers très étroits. Sinon hôtel très bien situé, chaleureux et à proximité de tout ce qu’on a besoin. Un peu de bruit entre les chambres, et tremblements de Underground jusqu’au 4eme étage.

we arrive late due to a flight delay, our room was given to other guest, we were relocated on another property but the first night the room was not what we have pay for. They gave away our room eventhough we pay in advance for it. Besides that the hotel area was convenient near to paddington metro stop.
