”A very nice hotel. Stayed for 1 night in August. Friendly staff, good service. Hotel came with free continental breakfast which supplied an array of choices. Room clean with tea and coffee facilities. All in all a very pleasant stay.”

The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. ”We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.
