I booked this trip for my husband to attend a car show & visit with friends. This hotel was clean, the room was large and comfortable. Overall he had a good trip but I do have two big problems. One feature that I looked for was a room that included breakfast. He was denied breakfast from the attendant the 1st day and had to go pay out of pocket. He complained but it kept happening & he had to involve management. So my first problem was that they continued to make him feel uncomfortable in the breakfast area. My 2nd problem is that management should have offered him some sort of compensation - a drink at the bar, a comped meal, an upgraded room, some points toward his next stay, something, especially since this happened more than once & they were clearly aware of the problem employee. This was an opportunity to create a repeat customer as he/we travel to LA quite a lot and they failed. I don't expect everything to be perfect but I do expect wrinkles to be smoothed and for some amount of customer-first service.
