Asunnot – Louds Island

”It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing games in the evening. It was a convenient trip to the local grocery store, and was very near to all the beauty and joys of the Harbor, light house's, LL Bean (an hour), and hiking. We LOVE it! ”We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout...

”The apartment was quite cozy and clean. However, winter in Maine is unpredictable and must prepare for it. Huge liability risk not to have lighted parking area at night, walkways too narrow of snow and not well lit or shoveled.”
