”This stay corrosponded with a 50th birthday we were invited to, and chose this accomodation as it was fairly close! We arrived, and no one answered the door, I then phoned, a very polite helpful gentleman let us in, and apologised profusely for not hearing the bell. I was upset at first, that my sister was on the ground floor, and I was on the top floor, but the gentleman carried up my case, I am 67 my sister 75! ”Absolutely awful. No housekeeping despite our requests during our entire stay. We could not even get a hold of staff as no one was at the reception or restaurant. We had to phone the hotel via the general number online and ask to be put through to the hotel chain. Extremely poor cleanliness, there were stains all over the bedsheets, chairs and a strong odour of urine in the room, carpets and bathroom.
