Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Wifi worked well in our room. Our room was located opposite a restaurant and sometimes it was a bit noisy in the evening even when the window was closed, but it only bothered us on the first night. Overall experience was positive.

Front desk was friendly and efficient Room a bit dated, beds not great. Pillows too soft , no extra pillows in the cupboard Breakfast: we have seen better in 4 star hotels

Dear Anonymous,thanking you for choosing us, we must inform you that as you have had the opportunity to see, ours is a historic eighth century building with original frescoes on the ceiling.If our esteemed guest had informed us that he needed extra pillows we would have immediately delivered them to him.As far as breakfast is concerned, as you rightly say, ours is a three star and not a four star hotel.Only local and quality products for our guests.Cordial greetings

Great place in a great location
The people were all friendly and attentive. The bed (just like all beds we have been on in Italy was hard). The location was great as it was in the middle of town. We ate at the restaurant and it was good. The breakfast had good options and even several gluten free items! We would stay again

Great location. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work well. Even overnight, it only cooled the room to 25.5 degrees (78 degrees Fahrenheit). The women at the front desk came to our room and insisted it was working as it should. Be prepared for a very hot room even though it technically has air conditioning.

As explained when I came to the room and as you could see the AC was working and the room was cool but instead of feeling your body you only knew to look at the thermostat.However you forgot to mention that I explained to you that this was the best we could do and that we also gave you a fan.However we are sorry if you did not find yourself well with us.Best regards.

Good Clean Quite Room
A good lodging experience, but a few points of criticism: 1) I am a big detractor of the hotel bathroom experience where the shower sprays onto the floor with a drain, and no partition to keep the floor throughout the bathroom from getting wet. My room had this feature, but it was ameliorated slightly because the shower was quite far from the sink. 2) No wall plug for charging in the bedroom that I could find; I used the one in the bathroom. 3) The hotel charges for small items from the minibar; other hotels offer this complimentary.

Located right next to a restaurant. Great location most areas within 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. ATM close by. Easy access to shops and other outlets.

Ottima la posizione in centro storico a Lucca, vicinissimo alle principali attrazioni e alla via dello shopping. Comodo anche il ristorante di fronte all'hotel. Insonorizzazione delle camere con quelle confinanti da migliorare, qualche particolare che andrebbe sistemato e aggiornato in camera: lo stipite della porta del bagno era letteralmente mangiato dalle termiti, il bagno carino ma molto datato, prevedere almeno una tenda per la doccia per non allagare tutto. Colazione con una discreta scelta e assortimento, consiglio di dotarsi di una macchina a capsule per le richieste di caffè particolari come ad esempio il ginseng che non era disponibile.

Amazing location
Amazing location and big comfortable rooms. The only thing that let it down was the plumbing in the Annex which is very noisy and woke me up several times when neighbours use the bathroom or showers.
