”Overall I loved this hotel and most of the staff were amazing, particularly the doormen and breakfast staff. However, the reception staff could definitely have been friendlier, more welcoming and less robotic on arrival. ”

”Great place to stay and would do so again. Clean, safe, secured outdoor parking, friendly staff. Short walk to the city walls and tourist attractions. The meals at the restaurant downstairs were average and my fish & chips tasted very fishy/not pleasant and the chips were soggy & greasy. The worst meal I had in the 3 weeks of travels.”

”We started six nights, the room was cleaned once during our stay. The bed mattress could have used more padding, you could feel the springs under your back. The room was tidy, though and the hotel has a very central location close to city attractions. Friendly staff, easy check in and check out.”

”Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”
