”This hotel is in dire need of repair. Our stay was not as advertised. The bedside lights were just bare (very bright!) bulb’s with no lampshades and this was not by design. We were visiting with a very large group and I visited other rooms, no other room has bare glaringly bright bulbs at sides of the beds. The bath had black mold round it. The mirrors were stained and marked. The hotel is next to a busy road that feeds the motorway, and the sound of the traffic was very loud in our room because...

”We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend.”

”Strikingly looking hotel. Unfortunately on entering reception, we were greeted with a dirty carpet, which carries on into the bar area with lots of stains. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Therefore, in this heatwave, the room was an oven. There was a desk fan - 'thank goodness'. Pleased with the room, the layout and amenities. Curtains need seeing to, useless and need blackouts! All the staff were pleasant and hard working. Did not expect a buffet...

”The Royal George is a lovely pub and Inn. The food is fantastic and all staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. We had an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Our room was very nicely appointed, spacious and quiet. Free parking was plentiful on the property (front and back lots). There is a small grocery store a ross the street. It is a beautiful area to walk around and a great base for exploring surrounding towns and attractions.”

”Got a really good price on a room with a gym on site. There was decent parking available and I got parked up near the entrance. I had a room on the ground floor which was close to the gym as well as the entrance. The room was pretty standard but what was required for me. I got shown to the gym which had new equipment and had plenty to choose from. I was then told it was an extra £5 to use it which would have been nice to know as part of booking the stay. I had a great workout at the gym then...

”Excellent Inn to stay at of you're in the area. Super helpful, polite and service oriented staff! Lots of choices for food and beverages. Room was very nice with a comfortable bed, a great shower and nice amenities. The included breakfast was amazing! Very good value for money.”

”Apartment was very spacious with everything we needed. A continental breakfast was provided which was appreciated. We had dinner at the pub one night and it was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking available. There is no lift and entry/exit is via external fire exit stairs at the rear of the building.”
