”Russel and Nicky made us feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast are amazing and worth a revisit alone ! The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom 3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . ”Beautifully situated within easy walking distance of shops/walks/harbour and beach. Room 16 was small, which is expected in an old building, but was characterful with great sea view. The thick walls made it very cool on a scorching day. Only downside was bath could do with a shower curtain and car park gets very busy and is 5 min walk. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant both at breakfast and dinner. Would stay again.”

”From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped.
