”Lovely hotel in a small prretty village. Good food in rhe pub, very dog friendly and very relaxed friendly staff. On arrival our allotted room only had a shower. I was really hoping for a bath, so the owner very kindly upgraded us to a room with a bath. Would definitely stay again. Plenty of walks from the door. ”

”I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys...

”Great location and room was perfect. Smart TV a nice touch. Contrary to what Hotel.com say, the hotel doesn't have parking so you need to park in the 24 hour car park a street away. Check in was confusing as you had to go to a different hotel across the road but it was fine. You also have to go there for breakfast.”

”Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. ”
